    Process for your first visit

  1. Fill out online application and make appointment

    • REQUIRED: online application
    • SAVE TIME : make appointment
  2. Gather your documents - must bring to appointment

    • Your country's driver license as proof of being previously licensed
    • Bring your current lawful presence identity document.
      • A S.A.V.E. verification will be run to verify your document status (this process may take up to 14 days.)  To understand S.A.V.E verifications, click here
    • Bring your social security card or proof of ineligibility to obtain a social security number.
    • Two (2) documents providing proof of your Utah address.
    • If your name has changed, bring proof of your new name.
    • Bring parent or guardian to sign for you if 17 and under

    When do I get my license?

    • A temporary license with a photo will be issued on the same day
    • To get your complete license, you must complete the driving skills test
