- Bring your current Utah commercial driver license, if it isn't lost or stolen.
- Bring your current lawful presence identity document.
- A S.A.V.E. verification will be run to verify your document status (this process may take up to 14 days.) To understand S.A.V.E verifications, click here.
- New address? Bring two (2) documents providing proof of your Utah address.
- Federal regulations require that your current address be printed on your commercial driver license.
- Name change? Bring proof of your new name.

When do I get my ID?
- A temporary ID with a photo will be issued on the same day.
- The completed ID with the same expiration date as your previous license will be mailed to you in approximately 4-6 weeks.
